Aerosimulators’ GIST stands for "Gimbal Imaging Systems Trainer." It is a complete training system solution for operators on a wide range of imaging systems as well as integrated moving map displays. It may be used for standalone TFO (tactical flight officer) training or integrated into a helicopter or fixed wing flight simulator to provide full crew resource management training that typically includes the tactical flight officer as well as the pilot in a simulated flight environment.
